    e30 offset

Whats the best offset for an e30? Im lookin at getting some 7x15 and 8x15 BBS RS's n the ones im lookin at are et16 and et18..

I'd like my car to handle well with em on..

They won't hit any suspension components, but the 8x15's may rub the fenders - I'm not positive. But, man, they will definately look hot! :D

You'll need to roll the fenders to put some nice wide tires on them, but they will work just fine.

Cars don't have offset, rims do.

That being said, those rims will fit E30's, but you might have to roll the fenders depending on your drop and your tire size.

eh? i wasnt sayin cars do i was jus wondering what a good offset on a rim was for the e30 as i know with some cars the offset on the wheels makes a big difference to how they drive!!

For the record: I have run 16x7.5 wheels with an ET30 offset with 205 width tires on a lowered E30 and didn't experience any clearance issues. The fenders only had minor rolling done to them.

does a higher offset move the wheels in or out? i can never remember...

I think i moves them in doesnt it?

Why would you need rolling at all with that setup?

You are right J, the higher the number the more inside the fender.

Ya higher is in the fenders more.

The offest for my wheels is 33 and thats pretty high for our cars, my wheels are only like 6.5" wide though.

                      Sold it.

Your wheels are probably way inside the fenders like mine, i got spacers for this summer.

And with that offset the wheels is very close to the strut. In front I can't put my finger between the strut and the tire/wheel
