    Tire pressure question...

Trying to figure out what's best with 205/50-15s or similar, for aggressive driving.

    Thanks,
    Trevor Ely

I run 205/50-16, but for reference this might be a starting point for you.

I run 34psi all around on the street, and autocrossing I start at 42psi front and 40psi rear. Then work from there.

Let's drive fast and have fun.

I use 34psi on the street (205/55-15), the last autox I used 38psi in the rear and 35 in the front. next time out I'm going to 40psi in the rear and 38 in the front.. made the rear feel pretty light, dunno if you want that in a RWD car though. ;)

you can use chalk to see if your pressure is high enough. make some marks around the corners of the tire in 3-4 places. if you are wearing off the chalk on the sidewalls, it means you need more pressure, generally.
