    Biggest rear tires possible?

Hey guys, whats the biggest rear tires possible with huge fender rolling/pulling + Pre arches + on a barely low suspension, given ideal offset wheels?

    255 or 265 possible?

255 seems possible but with major fender work

sorry i misread the OP's post. i read without any work.

with major work i dont see why you couldnt stuff 275s in there.

edit: shit, just untub the rear, add widebody flares and run 465s...

I've seen 255 or 265 17s on an early chassis.

I've seen 245/35/16 on an et 23 wheel on a car that was 5 lugged. and it was a late model. I don't see why you couldn't fit a 255 easily...

DSP Guys run 275/35/15 slicks and 285/xx/18 slicks so you can go big if you willing to work for it

Thanks for the imput guys. Im not willing to cut or and any flares. But im willing to roll/pull the fender as much as possible. Car is going to get a complete paint job after this, so fucking up the paint is no issue.

If i manage to pull out a 255 im happy, but if 265 fit in there, it will be great.

are you still 4 lug? what wheels? I think I see fender arches on the car. what kind of failures if any are you seeing from the additional grip? any other thoughts?

Good questions. I am still 4 lug yes. I run a 15x7 alcoa aluminum wheels with cantilever sidewall goodyear slicks. I do have IE flares now, but that is only so I can go with a wider tire nest year. I had aggressive roller fenders before and had no rub. I am in need of a new diff and I feel it is due to the new grip but I am only basing this on how I feel the rearend is handling now compared to last year and this year. Otherwise, I love them and cant wait to go wider all around. I did disco the reay sway bar. it handles much bettern now.

And BTW, no stagering. I run the same size front and rear.
