TSW's arent THAT soft, people that have posted make it sound like they are unfit to put on a car because of how soft they are. I have some hockenheim R's that I used to have on my e28. Are they light? no, they're an inexpensive cast wheel and are fine for what they are.. They are a bit heavy, but no heavier than borbets on average. I've spun in the rain and hit a big rock dead on with my right rear hock R, scratched the shit out of it, but its still true. Good luck finding hocks though, they've been NLA for a while. Newer ones looks a little cheap to me

      Damn, you guys are harsh.

TSWs used to be shit quality and were really soft, but the quality is a lot better now. I work for Butler Tire in ATL and TSW is one of our main brands. Hell, 9 times outta 10 they spin up truer than $1,200 Lorinsers and Lowenharts...seriously. I even put 18" Kyalamis on my Fiancee's E36 and she's had them on there for six months now and no bends or damage anywhere...even after two mountain runs and ATL's shit roads...

I like them, (obviously) and painted the center black and left the polished lip and have gotten tons of compliments on them.

Anyway, here's a couple of pics of them before the painting...take a looksie:

Yeah someone on the board has the hock-r's and can't find a replacement...hard to find from what I hear.
I have 16" hock-R's and have 2 spares, just in case. I've seen both in person and the Hock-R's look much better, IMO.

I'm just crazy about the hard egde spokes on the Kyalamis.

www.cheapwheels.com has access to Hocks for super cheap.

I kinda like these Hock R's... painted white, they have the touring car effect, I like them.

These r on my mates car he's running a S42 (made up by him, cause they r nigh impossible to find)

At least I was the first one around to get them :?

Those TSW Kyalamis looks good on that E36. Anybody have any pics of what they look like without the center caps?

I have TSW's, they came with the car. All 4 are so out of round that they're impossible to balance properly (I did the balancing myself). You can see them flip around when they spin. They're useless, IMO.

old post bumped up, I kinda like the kyalami in grey spokes. They might look good when I give the bronzit a respray (I know I'll catch some shit for that). What evidence is around that tsw are soft, i'm just happy to find an inexpensive rim in 4x100 with a right offset. any pics? anyone tried these for a couple months? If Jordan is up late, I'm sure my first response will be something akin to "they're f-in ugly," but I was hoping some folks would have real life reviews.

I will pay top-dollar for tstars and a finder's fee FWIW.

As time went on, the factory developed the car each year, making it faster, more comfortable, and capable of handling at higher speeds.
You don’t want this. You want the trickiest, most dangerous, oldest model you can find. Only then can you prove to the world that you’re a man.
