    alignments

so I was in glendale the other day after buying some parts at BMA and i was wondering how much the local shop wanted for an alignment....$180, that sounds like a load of shit to me, he said everything is complicated and different because I put lowering springs in my car, around how much does it cost for an alignment and where should I go looking for a good place to do it?

Also, if i get an alignment I can change the tires and still have my alignment as good correct? would only need to balance the tires?

lol.. it's no different because of the lowering springs. the only thing you can adjust is toe anyway. find a shop that don't have their heads up their ass.

and yes you can change tires without getting an alignment.

so anyways found a good guy today, 30 bucks...but he said he couldnt align it to 100% because i have the car lowered(h&r springs), he said he adjusted the toe in and can get it aligned 70%, i just hope it made a difference

i still have a shaky ride

like nando said, toe is the only thing that's adjustable on a stock e30 suspension.

if you're still shaky after getting an alignment, you either have a wheel out of balance (most likely a front one), or one or more very worn bushings. sounds like urethane time to me.
