325ix with 17x8 et43, what to do to make it work?

what will I have to do to run 17X8's on an ix? what size spacers? roll fenders? what tires should I use? I want the beefiest tires I can fit.

and if I can't run beefy tires, I could go for that stretched tire look, I love it. either way.

    thanks

im not 100% sure about an ix, but 20mm spacers to get in the 20 range (offset)

yeah, well, ix's have a stock offset of about 41 or 42 so I don't know if I'll rub my strut housing or my fender or what, especially as soon as I get my suspension.

ET20 on an 8" rim will not work.

ET41 on an 8" rim will not work.

my best guess is around ET30.. but putting 17x8" rims on an ix is a pretty bad idea to begin with.

IMO you'd be lucky to find a set of 7.5" wheels that fit. you'd need around ET35 for that to work.

well, it turns out the wheels are 17X7 anyway. but I am interested in running some wider wheels someday. If you've never seen it, maybe I'll be the first. :)

i thought my OZ's were 7.5 but i sort of forget. kosei k1 17x7.5 et 35 would be a pretty sick wheel for an ix. I am dead set on 17 inch comps though. 8's could be done but probably e30 is right maybe et27 or so, they be aggressive.

not so easily, you can't roll the fenders as much as you can on a normal E30 because of the plastic flares.
