what will I have to do to run 17X8's on an ix? what size spacers? roll fenders? what tires should I use? I want the beefiest tires I can fit.

yeah, well, ix's have a stock offset of about 41 or 42 so I don't know if I'll rub my strut housing or my fender or what, especially as soon as I get my suspension.Comment

ET20 on an 8" rim will not work.
ET41 on an 8" rim will not work.
my best guess is around ET30.. but putting 17x8" rims on an ix is a pretty bad idea to begin with.
IMO you'd be lucky to find a set of 7.5" wheels that fit. you'd need around ET35 for that to work.Comment
