    Is this salvageable?

    Curbed the e30 last saturday... pictures tell the story of the damage... is it worth getting fixed? or should i just buy a new rim? it's a borbet bs. If anyone has some for sale, or just one(not likely), let me know. Otherwise what do you think?

            Was only about 30-40 mph.... and it was into a curb. I don't understand it either.... and there is no body damage whatsoever to the car... just a curb. only ripped off my front lip, that's all.

                      i hit a curb same spot on one of my wheels. wheel shop deemed it not fixable and my control arm bent like a rainbow. (way lower speed than you, although it was a tall curb)

                        Yeah, I'm taking it to a shop. Just going to order a new rim and call that a day... Oil pans on the way. But yes, I hope nothing else major occurred. Looks as if nothing is bent but there is probably no doubt that my alignment is off.

                          30-40 mph is pretty darn fast when hitting a curb. Definitely explains the damage.

                            Easy fix. Trust me. You should see the wheels motorcycle racers have fixed. Probably cost you 40-80 depending on where you go.
