    Interesting steelie option

So I was digging around ebay.de for some wheels and came across this:

I don't speak German but from what it appears this guy is taking factory steel wheels and converting them to three piece. I know people have been interested in widening steel wheels and the Diamond Racing stuff but I thought this would be an interesting twist.

Like I said, I don't speak German at all and don't have enough interest to research them but it's an option for some folks. Sorry if it's a repost.

That's almost 800 dollaz. Diamond Racings are almost half that.

I think you have to send him the original wheels before they will modify them. It's a shame that a bottlecap wheel doesn't have the room for it. I'd pay stupid money for a 3 piece bottlecap in 14x8. I think it would be impossible for multiple reasons.

If you are too not concerned about them being 3 piece i am pretty sure you could have this done. There are multiple guys cutting and welding fuchs for porsches in all different ways. One way they use to get a wider wheel with more dish is to cut the outside lip off a set of wheels and weld on the inside lip (cut off another set of wheels) . You cant even tell its been done.
