Spacers Id say. Maybe 10-15 mm ones. Id wait for someone else to verify this though

If the Alpinas already have a low offset, wouldnt spacers make matters worse?

no spacers, they should bolt right up.

I tried to take the wheels off the 325ix. They're seized up real good. Tried some PB Spray and eventually a torch. Both to no avail.

Looks like I need an air wrench.

I guess I'll let everyone know how Alpina's fit on an ix.

I thought ix's had an offset near 40mm...If the Alpina's are for a standard E30 isn't their offset going to be somewhere between 20 and 30mm? Seems to me that the wheels would be very close to the fenders with an offset in that range...Food for thought.

The 7" Alpinas will be fine, but if you have the 8" rear pair, you won't be able to jam those under the iX.

                I have 7" all around.

I'll give it a try sometime next week when I get the wheels off the ix.

yeah, but you can easily run a 20mm offset on the ix. my old wheels were 16x7.5" et20, and my 15x7" wheels are et24.

also, the alpina ix used the standard 16x7 alpina wheels, so they will fit.

Shouldn't be posting at all if he has no idea what he is talking about.

Dude are you serious, I was going off the fact that stock ix's run an offset of something like et38. I was guessing that youd need spacers if you put a rim with et22 or whatever on it. Hence the "someone else should verify" dick.
