No spacer in the rear, 5mm in the front to clear both the strut and the brake caliper.

Thanks. I like the 225/45s. Are you using the 8 mm spacer on the rear hubs also? Is the spacer in the front to clear the strut housing?

I'm running 225/45s on my filled and drilled style 5s

I have an 87 (early model) and I have lots of room on tokico springs.

What size tires did you put on the wheels?

I've got an early model (higher rear arches) that is on H&R sport springs (~1" drop or so), so plenty of room.

Everyone talks about the potential issues with a fill and drill but has anyone actually had an issue? I run filled and drilled style 5s and though I dont abuse my car....I have certainly gone on spirited driving runs and have never had an issue. Can anyone share examples of style 5 fails?

Didnt know it would fit so clean. I really wanna do two piece e39 style 5, but the 20 offset is just a few ticks off of making it adapter friendly without doing some major fender work.

Don't know the suspension he is running maybe the owner will post his specs.

I'd run spacers before I do re-drills. A 5 lug swap is also another option :)
You think redrilled style 5s, either 16"cast, or 17" splits would not be strong enough for an s50 e30?

I was hoping to go this route for money sake :(

adapters!! that way u can run multiple wheels and not have to redrill every set of wheels u might like.
