I have been looking into Avon tires. Have you guys heard of anything about them. they seem to go for pretty cheap.

I can't remember if I have 10 or 15mm spacers. I think they are 15mm. If I recall correctly, the wheels are a 38ET and 15mm spacers, putting me about 23ET offset. Will that take a 225 without rubbing?

Actually the only Azenis in my size are the ST-115s. Are they good?

Yes, you should be able to fit 225/45's quite easily. You might need to roll the fenders a little bit, depending on how low/soft your suspension is.

I'll be able to give 'first impressions' review of the BFG G-Force Sports next week at some point. I'll be mounting them on Wednesday.

Sorry, yeah, my suspension is H&R Sports and Bilsty sports. I wouldn't mind rolling my fenders, but am concerned with busting the paint. That just wouldn't do.

Same here. I am mounting my 205/50-16 g-Force Sports on Tuesday or Wednesday. My friend got them a couple months ago on his E30 M3 and has nothing but good things to say about them.

I've had the g-force sports for about 5,000 miles now on my '02 Jetta, 225/45-17. They were the cheap and have decent grip, but I don't throw the Jetta around like I used to now that I got the e30 so I haven't had them at the limit a lot. They are decent, not as good as the pilot sports I had on there before (they were free tires, mind you, but then blew one out on a pot hole so I had to get the g-force sports).

They follow the grooves of the highway when new and seem to have a pretty soft sidewall, but I don't think you can complain for the price.

I may have to try out those new hankooks when I get new wheels for the e30. I have 195/65-14 falken ziex 512 on the basketweaves and they have phenomenal grip for all seasons...or maybe it's just the 318is. I've never heard them squeal.
