best websites to buy tires? Discount Coupons/Codes?

    Onlinetires.com?

    Tirerack.com?

What websites do you use and do you have any discount codes you'd like to share? I am looking to buy new tires but wanted to check with you guys before I make the purchase. I am looking to buy a set of Kuhmo Ecsta XS in 215/45/16. So far onlinetires.com has them for the cheapest at $93.00 before tax and shipping.

There has got to be better deals out there. Anyone?

215-45 is undersided just FYI. 225/45 or 215/50 is what you want. Unless you're slammed with mucho poke, it will end up looking a bit feminine.

    discounttire.com
    tirerack.com
ebay - it sounds bad, but there are some killer deals. It's a PITA to search though.

It's for the style 5s I just had redrilled down at LAX. Scary looking for sure but I'll run em anyways.

Curb rash will be fixed as well. So you are saying 215/50s eh? There isn't many options in the 225 45 range except the KDW2s and from what I've heard, they get loud as hell after 8k miles. I don't think I'll be driving the car much anyways honestly.

Get the R1R, not the T1R. T1Rs are kind of ice skate ish. If it EVER rains ut there, don't get the XS. Its wet performance is absolutely abominable.

As much as I want to spend $700 on tires, I just don't see myself taking full advantage of the R1R's performance. 16 inch wheels have such a terrible selection as well. I'm just looking for a tire that has good all around performance and are reasonably quiet.

              Fuck onlinetires.com

I ordered Kuhmo XS tires from them 2 or 3 days ago and they just got back to me after asking for a tracking number that the tires I bought are out of stock and won't be back in stock for another 6-8 weeks.

Tirebroker is expensive as all hell man.

Falken 452s for 141.00 per tire?

BF Goodrich KDW2s for 161.00 per tire!?!?!?!?!

No thanks. I grabbed a set of 225/45-16 KDW2s for 518.00 shipped from Tirerack.com Best price I found from the select few websites listed in this thread.

This. Drop-shipped to the closest Discount retail shop for mounting & balancing. BTW the discounttiredirect.com website is WAY cheaper than the discounttire.com which only shows local store inventory @ large markups.

Tirerack.com still beat Discounttiredirect.com's price, even with Discounttiredirect's free shipping incorporated in the cost. You're not really saving much since they throw the cost of shipping into the price of the tires. Go figure.

If you call discount tire they usually match anyones price. They did it for me for some falken suv tires I found on some off beat website. The matched on some goodyears I bought for my cop car last year. But there was a time that tirerack was cheaper, because they were offering a mail in rebate on bridgestones for the bottlecaps. I get them delivered to my house and installed myself. I have no knowledge about buying from a discount tire store.
