    Rubbing with Apex ARC-8

Sorry if this has been asked but I searched for an answer and couldn't find anything. Those of you running ARC-8s what size tire do you run and with what suspension/camber settings ? I was thinking of getting 235/40 17 and was thinking I would need to run some negative camber and probably have to roll the inner fenders.

Most people run the 235/40 tires. You'll just need a fender roll.

Do you guys have issues with rubbing against the front wheel well liners when turning?

I'm trying to figure out if my issue is because of the 235 tires or the fact that I retrofitted plastic bumpers and wheel well liners.

^^^ Yes, I have rubbing in the wheel well on 235/40/17 due to the diameter.(17x8.5 et40 w/ 12mm spacer up front) Am only losing the last 1/8th turn of the steering wheel though. No problems with the fenders otherwise. I am running -3.5º camber up front with this size fronts however. Going to probably give myself more clearance by cutting and fabbing a larger rear part of the front fender well.

That's odd, mine rub on the front of the wheel well.

Are you running a 5-lug setup?

Yes, I run a 5 lug setup. Caster is 10º as well for reference. I do get some rub in the front, but it's only annoying when in reverse ;-)

I'm reviving this thread. Here's a photo of how far I can turn the wheel just before I start to rub...not much:

I trimmed my inner liners with holes by the brake duct for clearance when turning.
