    O.Z. Futura

Just wondering who is running O.Z. Futuras? Just bought some and can't wait to get them. Was also curious what tires people were using? Thanks!

    What are your wheel specs?
    You better have coil-overs.
You need to slam the car basically, to pull off futuras.
    Stretched tires.

      Rear: 16x9,0 ET18 57,1 4x100

I was hoping to see some other e30s with them so I could see the different set ups.

are you running spacers? I was told i may need 20mm spacers for the front.

Because in the front, you need to get down to about a et15 with a 9 inch rim. Because you are running an 8.5 inch rim, you might be ok to go with a little thinner spacer. Not sure the exact theory behind this but from what I've read and learned, this seems to be the case. Without that spacer, you will be rubbing all kinds of stuff. wheel to strut housing, wheel to caliper, etc.

The rear inner lip of the rim may contact the spring or strut and the wheel spoke face may hit the brake caliper. For this reason you need to space them out.

It does depend on wheel design though. You get more clearance with an 8.5 so maybe go on the wheel offset calculator and that will tell you how much more or less inner clearance you'll have compared to 9" +10

Dude, ET24 in the front is not that bad. You can run a 5mm spacer if you want.
I have mounted Kosei K1 17 inch with ET35 offset and they made slight contact with the strut. I only needed 5mm spacer to fix the issue but i used 15mm to bring the offset down to ET20.
Since your offset is ET24, i would say get 8 or 10mm spacer. And you will be running sretched tires. With 20 mm spacer, your offset is going to be ET4. Turns ur e30 into a Jeep wrangler.
Or you could mount the wheel without spacers and take a guess at what thickness spacer you will need to clear the strut and brakes. Always try fitting before buying spacers or tires.

Too true, I would have ended up with spacers I didnt need if I believed everything I had read.

i have some futura's on my //m. but im curious as well to what tires sizes people are running... im trying to figure out if 215/45-17 will be too tall for the front, currently stock height, and just looking for some daily driver tires. main concern is to not rub... im running 17x8.5 et 13 all around,
