    VW empes

I have a set of VW empes in the garage. They hit the calipers on the front, dunno about the rear.

    Anyone using these wheels?

    I think they are 15X7

I would really liek to make them work, they are free and I like the look...

you will need hub centric spacers to clear the calipers. VWs use a higher offset than E30s but the wheels are otherwise compatible, spacers will push the wheels out for brake and strut clearance.

I just looked it up, i think the lugs are 4x130. or at least this set on eBay was like that.

How much space do they require?

Are they the old 8 spoke empi's for aircooled vw's? if they are then they are in fact 4x130.

Which means you'll never make them fit.

A guy in my neighborhood has a set of GOld BBS RS from his Maserati Biturbo. He said he'd sell them to me - for next to nothing - they are 4x98.

You could probably re-drill the hubs to make them fit.

                  Might work.
