Normally when they do that dont they just use aluminum? But no, no one I talked to down here did the fill part. Just this. And this place had the highest reviews from what I read

I would see about maybe getting the holes filled.

If you look close its not that bad of a design, less filling, just drilling.

Haha idk what to do. I mean I get that its not pretty. But I can't imagine they would do something thats going to kill their costumers. Or put them in a legally liable situation. So I get that some hate it, but my concern is strictly safety. And I am NOT tracking this car. This is my DD/cruiser/baby so I want it safe haha

It will all depend on how much stress you are going to put them through...

Today I saw a miata (lighter car than e30) brake a Kaiser(sp?) race wheel on a race tire...the whole center section broke...all 4 fat spokes and the wheel came off the car flying....

Wheels/tires are ALL your car is riding on, big safety concern in my book.

I don't think that was one of the best jobs, that shop has shelled out. With that said, no I would not put those on my personal car.
Look up more redrill jobs on here, make copies of the work and take picture proof, of what you need to have done to be a satisfied customer. Unless they have some sort of sign, warning you of the their butchery, do not accept a "no we can't help you or reimburse your money back."

Good luck man, hope everything works out for you tomorrow.

Generally fill and drill is preferred to inserts but inserts can be acceptable (re style 5s). But that is the worst insert job i've ever seen. They drilled all the way through instead of just creating a recess. Why they would do that is beyond me. Now its more prone to pull the insert through the minimal material that is left over. Also they deformed the center bore. Thats going to make it a bitch to get the hubcentric spacer in. Your going to probably have to press or hammer it in place and you'll risk dislodging one of the inserts.

I'm friend's with this guy whose dad is a welder, like thats all his family has ever done haha. But would it be any better to just get the holes all filled in with some aluminum? Or am I still asking for death. Otherwise I'm just gonna take my loss and ditch these

No way I would run those if you even somewhat care about safety.
