Question about tires size and rim size

I clearly need more tire then a 205 55 15s, spins way too much under boost. I am running ronal 15x7.5 inch rims. I am thinking about running 235 _ 15s in the back, planning on rolling the fenders as well. Would that work with a 15x7.5 rim? And what sidewall height should I get.

    Thanks,
    Jeff

Get a sticky 225/50. Maybe BFG G-Force TA KDs or Bridgestone S-03s.

Why not like a 235 50 15? I cant spend a shit load on tires, I was gonna go with es 100s but 235 50 15 might be an awkward size, I dunno.

Good luck finding anything in that size. I'm telling you, 225/50 BFGs.

225s would be cheaper and are plenty for a 7.5" wheel. Never buy ES100s, ever. Hell, Falkens are better than ES' and are a lot cheaper too.

I bought a set of G-Force T/A KDWs in 205/55. my car isn't boosted, but I'm hoping they will live up to the reputation. I'm looking for excellent hydroplane resistance, as I'll be using them mostly in the spring and fall, with dry traction being second. I'd have gone with 225/50 but my tires are close enough to the fenders as is, and I've read the G-Forces are pretty wide.

Neither of those works on Ronals, unfortunately. Too little strut clearance, and they run WIDE.

G-Force Sports is about the best you can do.

Since he's doing this more for straight-line traction, he could stick with 205/55's up front. 225s should fit fine out back. Yeah, I know its not ideal for handling.

I thought of that after the post. You're right, any 225 will fit the back.

I just got my G-Force sports yesterday, only taken them 10-12 miles and a vast inprovment over the touring tires that came with the car. I got 225\50\15's at all four corners.
