Help me out here - looks like these are on sale for $101ea right now.
I'm looking to get a track setup for my '91 318is (already did suspension upgrades years ago, never got wheels/tires). Looking to go wider w/o pulling the fenders (i guess I can roll the inner lip if necessary) and get a 215 or even 225 w/o rubbing.
Should I go with the 15x8 or 16x8? Not much difference in tire prices, so only thing i'm looking at is best fitment w/o rubbing.
Car is sitting 2.5" lower than stock on somewhat sagged H&R springs w/ Koni adjustables all around, oversized Racing Dynamics sways front and rear, etc. Stock suspension locations (not coilovers).
The link in the first post of this thread shows 15x8 ET +20.

I already had the rear rolled. I went with 215/45. I'll let you know how it fits in the frontLeave a comment:

Yeah those are the rings I got, just a plastic set from nlmotoring. along with the 57mm studs from kalib0y. Tires are 205/45 nexen 3000s. They're a little narrow, but they're the first set I've bought for an e30. I wanted to run narrower just in case (avoiding rolling).Leave a comment:

Thinking about running 16x8 +20 in the front and +0 in the rear.
or is that stupid?Leave a comment:

Just got mine in and put them on with the help of a stud conversion kit from Kalib0y.Leave a comment:

Bmoores - XXR recommended tuner lug nuts you may have a problem with the shape of the wheel bolts where they taper. If you get the studs seems like you won't need the rings. Check out kaliboy on this forum.
Does enough of your bolt enter the disk and hub? IMO you should have at least 6 full turns when bolting them on.Leave a comment:

May give studs a shot. With te offset in the front it might look stupid with anymore poke.Leave a comment:
