I posted it to show how a wheel barely bigger barely fits even with tiny tires. Chill the fuck out

Or that he was looking for a chunky set-up, not stretched...

And it's not even that, you can still go faster in CORNERS with wider tires... many examples of this happening at SCCA events.

I mean, a 225 can only give you so much mechanical grip.... and having more tire if you have the power to back it up CAN still make you go faster.

If that wasn't the case, 4 cylinder MIATAS in CSP class would not be running 15" wheels with 255-275wide tires on all FOUR. Those are aren't, aren't in the top finishes.

You don't need 1000hp to utilize extra grip of wider tires if set up correctly.

OR are you guys flaming him for 2" wide spacers ? LOL
Im not sure youre benefiting that much with this much tire on these cars. Its really cool and at the autox and theres a metric shit ton of grip.. but im spending more time with 15x10/16x10 wide setups on e30's (and my e30 suspension'ed 2002 with 15x10), and talking to old school racers who've been there done that..
and Im not fully convinced that we're using all of the tire. Im no geometry major, but put yourself behind an e30, or 944 at the track, and tell me what the front outside tire's doing during hard cornering....

                    e36 different story..

You can google mustang fox body SLA suspension design for a better idea.. the older design just want designed the utilize a tire that wide.

box flares are awesome though :)

Yep, it all comes down to numbers though at the end of the day right, small improvement or big. What 15x10 wheels are you running on yours? Curious minds want to know :)

                          Basset wide 5's w/ one-off custom adapters (4x100)
Theyre the same wheels from the condor speed shop GRM challenge e30.

Turning was never an issue with no power steering,
but both cars are no heavier than 2000 so that may make it easier.

No, were making fun of him for asking a stupid question. Same reason everyone on here already hates you simply because you used the word "Hella".
