Just bought an original set of E30 Hartge wheels out of Thailand and need to find tires. Wheels are 16 X 7.5 with a 25 ET. Should I go with 215/45/16 or 205/50/16. Worried the 205s will make the car look to high. Also, car sits fairly low, will I need spacers to clear the strut?

I had 225/45 on mine, then switched to 205/50 when buying new tires due to selection.
Both sizes looked great and will maintain the correct overall diameter. No spacer needed!
Here's my car with the 205/50:

Miss mine...but then again don't have 4 lug cars anymore.Comment

For reference I think I had a 10mm rear spacer on in that picture. Not needed at all though.Comment

Corect size for these wheels is 225/45/16, keeps the rolling distance about the same.

215/45, 225/45, 205/50 and even 225/50 are all acceptable (with 215 being a tiny bit short, and 225/50 being a tiny bit tall).Comment
