    They look like absolute ass, they aren't safe for anything other than leisurely driving, and they scream "I'm a lazy fuck who doesn't understand how cars work" to everybody that sees them. If you want the automotive equivalent of a dunce cap, go for it.

    What you need is a good wheel cleaning brush for general use. Every once in a while, I use Meguiar's Wheel Brightener to clean off anything that is sticking (this stuff works magic, but it is HIGHLY TOXIC - the active ingredient is ammonium bi-fluoride. Also, don't even think about using it on bare aluminum wheels).

        Yup, those covers "can" cause overheating ... if you drive hard. But why bother ... Ceramic pads are great - and zero dust!
