Sup guy, I know everyone hates cleaning their stock Basketweaves, as it is a annoying task to do. My dad told me about these brake dust covers, he used to install on e30s for their Basketweaves to protect from brake dust and I found them online recently....anybody try them before? My dad said it worked like a charm, considering on purchasing a set. here is the link http://www.brakedustcover.com/perfor...k=BMW&md=318is

They have been around a long long time and seem to work well. I have seen cars with them on and the wheels still get dirty just a lot less. The covers are kinda unsightly though and people typically only get the fronts."I'd probably take the E30 M3 in this case just because I love that little car, and how tanky that inline 6 is." - thecj

This stuff works really well:
I use it on the bottom of my longboard as well and dirt/road grime wipes right off.Comment

Brake dust shields can lead to overheated brakes during spirited driving.
Just find a less dusty pad, or clean your wheels more often. I clean my wheels more often and keep them waxed, which helps keep the dust from sticking in the first place.Comment
