Different tires have different tread widths depending on how the manufacturer measures it, even if they're the same size. Falken 512's are the skinniest running tires you can buy, and you can use the clearance.
Huuuge wheel poke. Is it too much?

+1 on falken 512's.
I will only run them. Also, you will have a hard time finding a 185/45 in any size. If you do, be prepared to spend around $200 per tire.
It really doesnt matter what size you run in the front because you wont really have any clearance issures. The rear, try getting a 205/40 falken 512 as said before.

There you go. I need adapters, and on top of that, my et smaller.
Would 205/45 be a good stretch on 16x8 rims? I was thinking 195's...+1 on falken 512's.

a 205/45 would be a very slight stretch. And the problem with 195s is that only a few companies make them and they all run wide which is horrible for stretch. Just go 205/40. you wont be sorry.
205/40 on my 16x8s

You missed the point of the comparison picture that guy posted. He was demonstrating to you how his 16x9 stuck out when just bolted onto te car in the air without tyre. It doesn't look too different to the pic of yours fitted with the adaptors.
16x8 -7 is about 10mm more aggressive than 16x9 +15 off the top of my headComment

They will fit. I have more poke than you're gonna have with my actual setup.
