BALLIN' ON A BUDGET .. opinions?

I've been searching for the past few days and just seemed to confuse my self. I'm in the market for some new shoes. Nothing exotic, just simple and clean. I've been looking at ether a set of steelies, like diamond racing or a set of xxr 002's. I know this is not what most people would do but i really like the look. I have two issues, one, Sizes, Id like to be able to lower my car down the road and would like the back wheels to tuck with out rubbing, minor finder rolling I can do but I'd like to stay away form it if I can. My second issue is price, I'd love to find some steelies that look good and cost a little less then diamond's.

Here the ride as of now..

    Any input would be nice!

    thanks

I'd say some of the best "ballin on a budge" wheels for the E30 would be 2 piece BBS style 5s.

The size of your wheel doesn't decide how low your car can go (assuming you're running correctly sized tires).

You should start by deciding what size you want and then give us a budget.

I don't think those are exactly budget wheels.

Used sets go from $500-$800 plus the cost of redrilling or adapters which range from $200-$400. Not to mention the cost of tires!

^^Valid opinion. My thought was under $1k for wheels would be "ballin on a budget." I't would be helpful if the OP gave us an optimum price.

go on Craigslist and look. I think that sounds like your best option. Or diamond steelies.

Do your suspension first. If you're looking to tuck tire later on down the road it's gonna look silly at the ride height you're at right now.

If you want something brand new go with the 15x7/8 TRM wheels or 15x7 DForce wheels. Both come in multiple colors, both are direct E30 fitment, and both are under $500 shipped brand new.

Honestly, i would keep that wheel, buy a set of coils and buy a skid plate and put it on the ground dude.

Buy coils first. You will never get the height right with a cup kit. Ummm I am a huge fan of these http://forums.bimmerforums.com/forum....php?t=1420444

All you need are adapters and some tires. Look epic on every e30 and there wide enough for some stretch and stance. The rims can be had on the cheap. I believe there style 5s for an e32? My buddy has diamonds and he likes them but he said the barrels don't come from the factory perfectly symmetrical so they tend to shake...
