what size spacer would be needed to make a 47mm wheel with a 225 50 15 tire fit onto and m3 suspension?

I also read that that the rears dont have any contact issues for the most part meaning that i wouldnt have to get them for the rear?

Um.. you are gonna need spacers in the rear too.

You always want to keep the track widths as close as possible front to back...

You could do either 15mm or 20mm

I have done some more research and i want some more imput. I have been reading on s14.net that the e36 m3 wheels are a popular choice. Theyre a 42mm offset and most like to use spacers to get down around 20-22mm. My wheels are 47mm offset, a 5mm difference from the e36 m3 wheel (duh). Anyways, if i used a 20mm spacer i would be at 27mm. So i guess my questions are, Is that 5mm going to be a huge difference? I dont think it will be a clearance issue, just preference? I will be upgrading wheels and tires down the road but im just going to use what fell into my lap if it wont be a safety hazzard or something.

if it's temp you'll probably be just fine with the 20mm spacers. it's better to be closer to the fenders but you can do that later with different wheels.

5mm can be pretty damn critical with wheel fitments. With that setup, you may be close to the strut but it could work depending on which 225 tire it is.
