Adapters or Fill N Drill

I know this has been asked probably a million times, but should I fill n drill or get adapters for my 16x8 (et 23?) e38 style 5's. I'm probably going to get coils sometime in late February or March from a friend who does work for StanceWorks (more info on coils once mine is complete).

Anyways, a little history on the wheels. They are currently black and the paint is chipped so I'm going to have em resprayed as well. That's why I want recommendations on whether or not to fill n drill (then paint), or paint and get adapters. That being said, what are some good companies that make adapters for style 5's?

So should I get adapters or Fill N Drill? And what are the advantages / disadvantages of both options?

an 18mm adapter will put the final et at 5 which would be flush. No need to fill and drill.

adapters. Since you would want to space them out a bit anyway. Plus, you open up your world to a whole selection of wheels.

If you want to tune your offsets without spacers and have the potential to use other 5 lug wheels on your car, get adapters. If you just want to run these wheels specifically and slightly increase the resale value of them, fill and drill them. You'll need to run spacers. Adaptec makes good adapters. Both will likely cost a similar amount.

here is my car with e38 style 5's. 18mm front and 20mm rear 4-5 lug adapters. 205/45r16 tires. fenders are not rolled at all.

Don't do with them...go with these guys! they are a vendor on this very site.

18 and 20mm staggered would be spot on, you mentioned no issues with flush. Just roll and pull a bit and you're done. Coilovers will allow you to tune the height to a perfect finish.
