Yes, 20mm adapters in the rear and 18mm up front. Pretty much a staggered flush fitment. Et 3 and 5 final fitment.
See post #61
I would even say to go for a 23-25mm rear to push out and fill that sidewall gap.
take notice in his last picture for the sidewall clearance. Bumping it out a bit more in the rear while sticking to the 18mm in the front would fill nicely. BUT this really depends on how low you want to go. I know you are going coilovers, that rear setup is pulled off with camber. If you don't plan on going down and out, I would stick with 18 and 20mm.Last edited by F34R; 01-29-2013, 05:02 PM.~ Puch Cafe. ~ Do business? feedback ~ Check out my leather company ~

If anything I'm going to slightly lower my car to compensate for the new wheels. I think 18 and 20mm would be fine then.Yes, 20mm adapters in the rear and 18mm up front. Pretty much a staggered flush fitment. Et 3 and 5 final fitment.

Spacing out the rear a little more than the front will even out the fitment. You can do a lower offset on the back. I did 20mm because I noticed people did 18mm all around and the rears were inset slightly more than the front. Not that 2mm made the biggest difference but it's noticeable.
Btw I have the 42draft adapters. They are such a quality build and easy to install

to address some of the things said in the this thread:
on the whole, i'd say filling and drilling reduces the value of your wheels. you will need to run spacers though, see below.
there's not much more room to play with offsets via spacers and a fill and drill vs. adapters - the smallest fully hubcentric spacer on an e30 is 13mm, which is 5mm less than the most narrow adapter. once you add in the cost of the fill and drill (+ the spacers), you've spent considerably more money for a 5mm difference, which is pretty negligible in appearance.
the car above is on the 42 draft adapters we sell, as far as i'm aware.
42 draft is actually not a sponsor on here, we (8380 labs) are - and we are an authorized 42 draft designs dealer. we played a direct role in the development of their 4-to-5-lug adapter kits, and were the first place they were actually made available. they were designed specifically with us e30 guys in mind.Don't do with them...go with these guys! they are a vendor on this very site.

if you place your orders thru 8380, you're supporting us, as well as 42 draft (same pricing). i've got an e30 and have run these adapters on my own car, so i can answer any questions you have.
18mm is the smallest width available, which is what you want up front. the front wheels on e30s stick out about 5-7mm per side further than the rears, so if you put slightly wider adapters on the back, you'll even the look out a bit more front to back.
for most people, that's pushing it a bit from what i've seen.
here's a post i put together last year that outlines a lot of what's been said in this thread, i.e. 5-lug vs. fill and drill vs. adapters.
here's a link to our adapter thread on R3V.
if you have any questions, feel free to PM me here or email me at info@8380labs.com.

Lifetime warranty on the adapters? $300 would be a lot better then paying ~ $400 that some other companies are charging.to address some of the things said in the this thread:

lifetime warranty, yup.
pricing is in the second link i posted above - do yourself a favor and read the first link i posted before anything, though.
all adapters are not created equal. the design we're offering is the best-designed and safest on the market. do your research and understand what the differences are - or feel free to PM me.
