personally, I hate the look of rolled tires, you should get a tire that will fit the rim, or jsut get smaller rims...

Speedo reading will be 3.3% to fast with that tire size. SO when speedo says 60mph, you're really doing 58mph.

225/40/17 would be better, but i dont know how common that is.

Wow your going to stretch 225's on a 10" rim?? I've never really understood the "euroness" in doing that. Can someone explain?

according to Andre the reason is because they have laws about tire tread having to be inside the fender lip.. so basically, to run a 10" rim they have to run stretched tires to remain legal.

Nitto is the only company that makes a tire in that size.

I'm planning on running 235/45/16's or 245/45/16s in front/rear with 35mm offset wheels!

Yeah...I don't see that happening without spacers.

I am already running 225's on my 16x7.5" ET25 RD's.......but there is not enough room on either side to fit 235's that is for sure....well at least not in the front but I've never really looked at the rear too closely.

No offense to Andre as everyone has there own tastes & his E30 is very nice.........but.....doesn't the whole stretched tire thing on super-wide rims that stick out beyond the fender lips remind you all of the "mini-truck" era in the late 80's - early 90's?

Why not? I have 235/40R17's on my 8.5x17's with NO rubbing whatsoever... Super stretched tires on overly wide rims is stupid.
