Anyway i was facing the save money or buy cheaper deal just yesterday. I opted to spend the extra money to get what i want.

the silver wheels w/ the lip are much better. I think you should save and buy some bbs rs or equivalent. I don't like that the part behind the spokes isn't polished/chromed as well, otherwise they aren't too bad.

I don't have the the weight sorry but I was just going to lower it only an inch to be able to fit the 17's under it, I thought that it would rub if I did lower it lower than an inch. I am going to go with the 16 x 8's with the polished lip, but not the chrome just the silver at et 22. Is that a good offset (et22) for me to be at or should I do something different? and how far should I lower it if I go with the 16 x 8's? or should I go with 16 x 9's to get a better look? Thanks for all your guys help

15,16,17,18 all have the same rolling diamter so unless you have the wrong size tire or a wheel thats too wide you can lower them all about the same amount.

You are honestly asking the wrong crowd on this web site. 16x9" basically looks like a Mexican low rider with the rims sticking outside the fenders to most of us.

So would 16 x 8 be any different? I don't want to hang out like mexican lowriders, that is what I am really trying to avoid. What would be a good look with those rims the 16's or 17's?

16x8 is about as wide as you want to go to keep the performance/looks about equal. W/ that setup you can have about 2 inches of lip and still run a decent tire 215's or 225's depending on offset.

I searched for offset of a 16 x 8 and it said to go with an et of like 25 but I was told in this thread to go with et22. Which one should I go for or should I go different than that? If I have to do fender rolling it would like it to stay minor if that helps at all

ET22 is 3mm closer to the fender than ET25 is. It's easier to fix rubbing on the fender than rubbing on the strut (roll the fenders... can't roll a strut). I'd go with ET22 personally but both would PROBABLY work.

would et 22 get in the way of the strut. I would rather worry about the fender if thats the case then

ET22 should not hit the strut.

why not get whatever you want and dont worry about what everybody else says. so far it seems like you posted what you want, then somebody says no, and you just agree with them. do what you want. who cares about what everybody else thinks as long as you like it.

I totally agree with you. Too many tend to conform to the standards when modding their bmw's, get what you want, it's your car.
