    Looking for custom wheel manufacturers...

I'm trying to finish up the project car for BimmerFest and I've run into a wall. I can't seem to find any custom wheel manufacturers that can make a very wide (10-12") wheel with a very low offset. The car is receiving approx. 3" fender flares and I don't want to run an oversized spacer for safety reasons.

Can anyone point me in the right direction? Websites also appreciated.

I need the wheels in preferrably a 4x100 bolt pattern with 57.1mm centerbore.

    Thanks!!

I had a family friend that used to work for a company that had a CNC machine, and he offered it to me if I ever came up with a design. The price was $350/wheel. He doesn't work there anymore, but maybe they still do special orders.

permit: Thanks for the link, but no info about custom wheels on their site. Though, 350/wheel is surely in my price range.

windsor: I'm refraining from taking and pics of the project until I get it back from the body shop. The fender flare idea is a bit out there and i don't want to worry about flames and speculation on it until it's realized. you can rest assured there is going to be no wide-body e30 like this in the world.

btw, windsor, I'm guessing you have the autovogue av3 kit on your car? do you have any high res good pics of your car from various angles? I'm considering that kit for my next project, provided I can find a vendor for it.

        Thanks guys!

I posted the link so you could find a phone number, and at least ask them if they'll do it. $350 is very nice.

They all could do what you are looking for. Use Google to find their web sites, I don't know them off hand. I would think you are looking at closer to $1,000 per rim for what you want.

i am working on getting a set of jlines right now. they do up to a 17x11 and are fully custom. It looks like they start around 487 each. Plus 100-150 shipping. Talk to e30evolution he is a jline dealer and has been quite helpful w/ fitment for my ix. With that wide of body i assume you are going to have a lot of engine in there so make sure you figure out which brake kit you want to run before you order the wheels.

I'm planning on running the IE BBK front and rear. 330mm x 20mm in front and 310mm x 22mm rear, both use floating calipers.

You can't have them, you've maxxed out your wheel punch card for this decade.

Was it Fikse or HRE that had the problems with wheels falling apart?

                              I think it was HRE.
