Well if you get past their looks there must be a reason that every classic racer still using bolts/studs runs them. Seriously, when we traveled with D&D about 95% of the cars out there were on Panasports.

It would be sweet if they were and inch wider but unless you are going for bigger brakes the 15" is fine. Throw some head cycled radials on them and use them for DEs for shits n giggles.

Pannasports are great wheels. Super lightwieght and look good too. I wanted to put the 15x7 pannasports on the e30 from my e21 but the offset is 12 and didnt even come close to clearing the calipers. I say get the lip polished and centers repainted silver and toss them on the vdub. Heres a pic of the pannasports on the e21.

I have basically panasports on my MG. They are 14x5.5 though. I want some 15x6. Drool...

no it's just the lighting, the smudge is some scuffing, but it's a straight wheel. I'm gonna polish em up and toss em on the VW, that car wont need much wider than that, and 15" is the biggest you can decently go on that car, so it'll be cool I think.

Since the wheels are so small, I'd say they'd look great on the VW, but not so much on the E30.
