I run 235/40's With Toyo's. Honestly I am debating going back to 16's for both cars. -
Thanks guys! I went with 215/40 17s. They look really well. I'll post pics later on today.Leave a comment:

I just checked nt555 sizing, and there is no 225/40/17 anymore. Maybe NOS?Leave a comment:

What nittos? They used to make a 555 in that size, but not for three years or so.
225/40/17 is the proper size, but they don't exist anymore, afaik.Leave a comment:

I run 225/45's. Probably could go up to a 235/245 but I like the look of the size I haveLeave a comment:

hey do you own the white stock e30m3 in Albany? I've seen that car a few times close to the Linn fairground.I've recently picked up a set of 2piece style 5's. I would like to run them on my e30m3. I was interested in what you guys run for a tire size. I don't like the "strech'd" look so I would like to keep away from that. If some people would like to Post some Pictures with tire size, That would be great so
I could visualize the fitment. Thanks.Leave a comment:

215/40/17. Had a wide set of 235s and had rubbing issues. They were heavy too...car felt snappier with the 215s FWIW.Leave a comment:

Here is an example of a Nitto 215 40 on an RC090. Theyre stretched a bit, Im not a fan of the stretched look either. Once I go through these Ill install my 245 35's on the rears (I bought a pair a while back), probably will stay 215 40 up front as I dont have the greater M3 fender clearance to make a wider tire work out.
