I've been searching and haven't found an IX wheel thread. So, I say we start one.
Throw up wheel and suspension specs, and a few pictures!

The rear hubs stick out 17mm more than a standard E30 (since it has the same track width), and the front hubs stick out 23.5mm more.
Now you can see why I say an ET20 wheel doesn't work on an ix, because it's really ET-3.5/ET3 (front/rear) in comparison to a standard E30.
running an ET35 wheel on an ix is comparable to running an ET15 wheel on a standard E30, only you have the additional concern of strut and suspension clearance to deal with because everything moved out, not just the hub.
