    Who's running 225/50/15

Just wondering who's running this tire size. I currently have these on 15x8.5. How you like them and fitment on the car? I have front/rear fenders slightly rolled, it looks like I will have to seriously pull the rear if i use camber plates. Front not so much.

What offset you running? Looking at the forecast I probably wont put snow tires on until Thanksgiving, unless i plan on going to Baker.

        Im on 225/50/15 w 15x7.5 et 25 late model.
No spacers or issues very slight occasional front rubbing on inside plastic fender, but only certain turns.
I love that people ask stupid questions so I dont have.

          et35 but it's an ix

I'd think ~ET20 would work fine for a 225 on a RWD car. 225 street tires are hardly pushing it for width, it's just a matter of offsets. :)

I went with ET25. I guess i will have to do without a rear camber kit. Thinking i should have went ET20.

That would explain the noise from turning sharp, lol. Guess is isn't a big deal. How close are your calipers to the wheel? Mine look like there's about 5mm

Ive never checked the calipers, but ive got a hair more that a sheet of paper between tire and strut. :)

I'm running 225/50/15 on my 89 coupe with Ronal LS. On H&R race with factory original fenders, no rubbing ever.

I rechecked mine with my digital calipers, about .0900+ spacing. I would call that paper thin between caliper and wheel. lol

caliper clearance has almost nothing to do with offsets, but rather with wheel construction.

Oh i know, I just wanted to point out. For wheel offset clearance i'm about a half inch from the strut. I made sure my offset would work. Btw, you going to auto-x this next season nando? I think ii'm going to. I haven't since the 2009 season.
