    Ronal LS with Azenis RT-615

Is anyone running the RT-615's on their Ronal LS wheels? I'm looking into the 205/50/15 or the 225/50/15. Which size would be better recommended? I have Koni SA's with IE3 springs.

    Thanks

Last I heard Falken isn't bringing the 225/50/15 over until the end of the year. Hankook R-S2 in 225/50/15 is out as of...now.

Careful though, either may run too wide to fit the front of an E30 (strut side). Neither of them have specs available yet, but I'd estimate that the R-S2s will work fine and the RT-615's just might have an issue.

If you need tires immediately and just want to be sure they will work, try 225/50/15 BFG G-Force Sports or the 205/50/15 RT-615s.

Why do you run the 50 size if 55 is the recommended for that rim? You're mileage and odomoter would be much more off wouldn't it?

This is true, but I have run undersized tires in the past and its not a issue for me. My concern was getting the handling set up to my liking.

As for the Falken tire conundrum, I have run the Azenis Sports and its been well documented that these tires were "fat" for a given size. I still have some RT-215s on bottlecaps for my track days.....probably a couple more days of thrashing left on them. If Falken stayed true to its form with the RT-615s, I would suspect these will be "fat" for a given size as well. Having said that, the 205s will be the size you want to go with and be safe from any clearance concerns.

The new Hankook R-S2s look like a great tire....its specs are almost spot-on with the (now discontinued) Falken Azenis Sports. I am considering giving these a try when it comes time to replace my tires.

shorter effective gearing and more responsive handling are two good reasons to run a slightly undersized aspect ratio.

                  I wish I knew man.

Hankook lists them as fully available. All suppliers are still completely clueless.

I need to buy tires in the next 2 weeks and it really doesn't look like the damn Hankooks will be here on time. They're the frickin' reason I bought 15's.

                        I guess I'll go with the 205/50/15 RT-615s.

I'm looking at getting tires this summer. The Yokos are spent (no way!). Should I just wait and rock the weaves with all seasons until the Hankooks come out?
