I see some people think 17"s are too much on an E30 so I would guess 16"s are just right? Let's see what we all think.

17s look the nicest IMO. but gotta have that drop, and I like the euro look.

i have a set of 16s and a set of 17s, i first had the 17 but with the cup kit they rubbed some, i found these sweet tsws in 16in and i thought it would help but turns out the offset is different and they are pushed out further and rub worse, back on the 17s and the tsws are going on the euro car

Agreed... I run both 15s and 16s. Only a handful of wheels look good in 17s... like Kopi Alpinas.

But you gotta have the drop. No drop the most you can use before it looks ridiculous is 15"

some cars can pull off 17s, but they have to be slammed, in all modesty, i believe mine pulls it off. but someday i want to get some 16 weaves because i think 16s are the best for non-m e30s, anything above 17 is obnoxious imo, you'll just end up w/ the gangsta 26in on a sedan look.

Ideally, 16s for the street and 15s with R-compounds for the track. At least that's my opinion on the subject.

16s are in between the bling of a 17, and the nice sized in scale of a 15" and just don't fit and look dumb in my opinion. i didn't like mine at all and would have have them larger or smaller. smaller worked.

15 and an undersized tire and a properly lowered car looks decently big, with cheap honda-sized tires. w00t

That's exactly what I would like and am looking for, 16" weaves. What aftermarket makes them? Do 16" BMW weaves exist?

i like my 16s... if i had to do it again, 15s would be fine by me as well.

not really that picky; maybe if i found the perfect 17" it might work, but most of the time it looks cartoony to me.

                        I've had multiple 15's, 16's, and 17's.

16's looked the best, but 15's for the functional win.

15s are easier to find take offs for

i should have asked hoosier for any 14's. i got a full set of weaves lying around damnnit

14" has serious tire choice issues now though. Only undersized, which drives me nuts to look at.
