Some people do. If you really want to make it happen you would. I run 16x7 et35 wheels because they weigh 11# each. They aren't as wide as many would want but with my early body and my ride height 225 wheels are a non issue. I also have custom spacers to make my final offset 25 in the front and 20 in the back.
Most people don't care about unsprung weight...

15x8 et28 would work on e30 and it weighs like 9lbs... $229 a wheel is same price as ronals pretty much. this thread is kinda skewedLeave a comment:

I would run them in a low offset/concave style like on some of the larger 5 lug versions. But all of the 4 lug rpf01s are high offset and convex spokes which is ugly imoLeave a comment:

And drag offers a rep for about $100/wheel but they will require at least a 10mm spacer to clear front calipersLeave a comment:

I would say because its a little pricey for the average e30 owner and that Konig makes a rep of them that are about half the price (iirc).Leave a comment:

Not a lot of people running these wheels and I was just wondering why. Is it because it requires a spacer when there are other light weight wheels readily available in e30 fitment?Tags: None
