          Exactly. The only reason I even considered these tires, much less an all season with a high treadwear in general, is to handle the traveling to and from college and to get me to and from events.

            You would probably get 20k from azenis then :shrug

            I'm just saying that with the same amount of freeway,city,auto-x, and track time, the ziex wear at about the same rate as the azenis.

              i probably got 40,000km out of my 512's. having alignment problems for probably 10k of the 40. i like them. cheap, grip pretty well for 14" rubber.

                Very important detail: There are 2 different ZE-512 compounds, one for 60 series and up and another for 55 series and below. The 60 series one is a lot more durable, and less sticky.

                And I have run both Azenis and ZE-512's, multiple sizes in each. They wear at almost exactly the same rate, it's not a myth (each around 12,000mi with my strictly street driving). And it's not camber wear, I corner hard and my tires always wear perfectly evenly.
