You must drive like a puss.Originally posted by kencopperwheatI have 10k on my Ziex right now and by the looks of the treadwear, I'm expecting to get AT LEAST another 10k out of them.

Exactly. The only reason I even considered these tires, much less an all season with a high treadwear in general, is to handle the traveling to and from college and to get me to and from events.Originally posted by kencopperwheatIt's my DD. I drive it like a normal human being.

You would probably get 20k from azenis then :shrugOriginally posted by kencopperwheatIt's my DD. I drive it like a normal human being.
I'm just saying that with the same amount of freeway,city,auto-x, and track time, the ziex wear at about the same rate as the azenis.

Very important detail: There are 2 different ZE-512 compounds, one for 60 series and up and another for 55 series and below. The 60 series one is a lot more durable, and less sticky.
And I have run both Azenis and ZE-512's, multiple sizes in each. They wear at almost exactly the same rate, it's not a myth (each around 12,000mi with my strictly street driving). And it's not camber wear, I corner hard and my tires always wear perfectly evenly.Comment
