Before and After - which style is best?

I recently picked up a new set of rims from a great guy in New York. Today I had a set of 225/50 15 Kumho put on, this replaced my 3 wheel euro weave/1 regular weave (horribly painted gray) set up I had on Toyo 225/50 15s.
Which do you guys like the old gray set up or the new shinny set up?

Side note the new set up rubs, but the same size tire never rubbed not once. I might have to take the hit and buy a smaller tire if I stick with the new set up.

    Thoughts????

Another view of the new wheels. They look great in person. The grey on the euro weaves is chipping and coming off, which looks horrible up close.

After is infinitely better. That gray color doesn't work with red.

Well done. Love the new wheels
Contrast is important, part of why I can't stand black wheels on 99% of cars.

        Your car looks great!

Thanks guys. I agree those new rims are sharp and add a touch of shine and appeal to the car it was missing. Now to figure out the Damn correct tire size. Any help with tire fitment?

Are those Ronal LS or 15" weaves? They look great!

Look like Ronal's with polished lips, but they could be ACT's as well.

I know this is going to sound pathetic but I don't know. The lip on these is very deep. It is polished. I have a set of 15" euro weaves and the lip is half of what these rims are. I asked the PO and he said he didn't know.

Does anyone know how I can determine what they are? I would also like to know the offset so I can properly fit a tire to these and stop the rubbing. He ran 215/50. I trust him in his recommendation, his e30s are super clean and nice, he does things the right way; but on my ix these rims rub like crazy with a 225. My euro weaves had 225 on them and didn't rub at all. So I am a little worried would 215 be enough of a drop, or should I buy a 205 just to be safe?

Set screw holding the center cap is the give away, Ronal LS or ACT they came from same mold.

Honestly, I'd refinish the old wheels. The lip on the new ones looks weird on an otherwise stock car.

To complete the look with these wheels what would you recommend?

As said before, they are Ronal LS, 15"x7.5", most likely ET25. You can remove the center caps and it should be stamped there. Same wheels as I've had on my old 89 Cabriolet and now going on my e30 vert. Correct size should be 205/55-15.

They are awesome and long lasting wheels, I've had mine since 2006 and the look almost like new.

I' digging the BMW center caps, I'm looking for a set of those for mine, any idea where he got them?

Back when Ronal was selling these in the US they offered sticker style centers that went over the ACT/Ronal plastice center cap. I peeled the ones that were on my centers about a month ago.
