ok so i think im gonna keep the covers for my new wheels, however i thought i would phot some examples of what they can look like, so far im undecided. inputs welcome.
Where's the "Play metal frisbee with the neighborhood dog" option?
Seriously, I vote "leave them off" - or stock.
If you have to paint something, the last one looks fairly cool.
::EDIT:: I just saw the wording of what you plan to do in option #4. I say leave the silver fins alone, so they still match the rims, but paint the coves black.
I just hope you plan to leave the wheels alone, no white paint there. Someday you would regret it.
Vlad's all white wheels worked on his car because they were prolly the cheapest thing on that car. You could just about glue a dildo on the hood and it would still be more pimp than 90% of the cars here.
The all white "period correct" is one of the the period things that is best left there. That, and Milli Vanilli.

lol "Play metal frisbee with the neighborhood dog" option, is when i get sick of em and want to roll around with the wheel exposed. i dont plan on having them on all the time, something to change the look from time to time. i also plan of getting some stars, to have 3 different looks

There was a website that is now dead that had a lot of information on these wheels. The problem with stars is that the centercap doesn't fit for some reason on older wheels, basically the really early turbines according to the site. So when you get that far, you might want to borrow a star and centercap from someone to verify they will work on your wheels. Yours might be new enough to not have an issue if you're lucky. Congrats on finally getting a set, and Nurburgring at that. Seems like you were hunting a while.
It's not how you handle the good times, but the faith you keep in the bad that defines you.
They need to be the same color as the lip of the wheel, IMO. Whether that be White or Silver.
Either this, or paint them black.
As you can see on Abraham's car, they also look good center cap-less...
thanks for sharing those photos...
and no guys those are not the staggered 9" ones. all 8". yea but for the price that i got them, i wast about to pass them up.
