Yeah, but what's the saying with business and family? If anything goes sour you may have drama or dislike within your family or friends. I'd just rather have a interest penalty if I don't pay back on time than hurting family ties, which is more important than money to me. But that's my personal preference, and I was just curious on why you rolled differently from me. Look into a card if you can, I got one at 19 with just a $2000 cap, and sometime you may not have a friend that has spare cash or willing to part with it right at that moment.

But I'm sorry I asked given the response. take care. I guess it's your personal business even if you are posting it on a forum? i apologize, next time I won't reply to you. anyway, enjoy those tires.

Don't take it that way, I was just taken back by your initial response. You are right, and I apologize for jumping to conclusions about it.

I'm not sure what I'll be using for auto-x tires. Nothing too extravagant, as I'm a beginner. But I have a seperate set of weaves I'll be using for auto-x wheels.

We used S03's on the formula 2000 car's I drove back in 04. Awesome tires, all kinds of grip. Nice score man!

Just got 6 of those puppies, 2 fronts 245/35-19 and 4 rears 275/30-19.

The rears seem to wear out much faster than the fronts....

Josh, for autox I would highly recommend Azenis RT-615 to learn on (as opposed to slicks). Very easy on the wallet, will last at least 2 seasons, and awesome grip.

I've been through a shitfuck load of "performance" tires, anything tire rack ranks from "ultra high performance" to "max performance", and none of them compare to the Azenis. Azenis are cheap too. I mounted them on bottlecaps and they have outdone any other street tire I've used. And that is in a 195/60/14 size, as opposed to my 205/45/16 street tire size). The sidewalls are stiffer, even in that size, then any of the 16" tires. But, I would only recommend them for track use. The normal lifespan is ~8000 miles of street use.

                            In the rain . . .

these tires are the shiznit. My old man runs them on his 97 993 and it is a rain driving machine. Gotta have em here in the Seattle area.
