That et is for a FWD car. Our cars have a 20 et i believe. You will need spacers, which is common and not a problem to do. Not sure on the tire though.

Tire rack shows some BBS wheels with 38mm offsets. You sure I would need spacers?

Tire size should be just about right. My current ones are 195/60 r14

Most higher offset wheels from tire rack come with spacers, lugs and rings if needed for e30 fitment. 15" wheels with optimum offset, around et20 can run 225s with rolling.
Search DigitalWave to find some info on his old grids and setup.

Bought the wheels. They fit and there is no rubbing or any other problems related to the ride. Obviously, though, they need the spacers to be pushed back out in the wheel wells just for looks. I take it I need a 18mm spacer? Also, where is the best place to find spacers reasonably priced?

195/50 tires are way too damn small.

The car was on 195/60 14's when I bought it. And I can always buy new tires.

I can get you the spacers you need. I have one set left from a GB that need to be turned to your specs. Tires? I would go for a 215/50 for a decent fit. 225/50 are some good meat for traction, not in wet or snow tho.

Well, the car is a daily driver so I don't need the extra width. Most of my driving is interstate at that.

Let me know a cost on those spacers and lets see what we can work out.

I run 225/50s on 15x7 et20 rims. I think it looks nice and beefy, there is no rubbing at all, even with lowering springs.

Spacers are all aluminum spun on a cnc lathe. I could get 'em to you for 225 shipped. You would have to get longer wheel bolts tho, I picked mine up from www.parts4vws.com

A 10-15mm spacer would be ideal for you.

Also, the correct size tire would be 205/55 or 225/50. Your current size is tiny.

Did you ever state the width of these wheels? Any offset information is useless without knowing the wheel width.

Offset is the distance of the hub surface from the centerline of the wheel.

They're 6.5" for sure. I've sold a ton of these wheels.
