Could someone show me a 215/45/16 on a 16x9?

Yes.
You don't need spacers unless you just want to run them. I like 205/50/15 tire size personally. It will be a nice size on a 318is also. I have the same car and tire size myself.
You can usually find the centerbore spec posted somewhere on the wheel hub or somewhere on the back. If not you can buy a real cheap Caliper which can measure the bore size.
Google "215/45/16 16x9" and under images you will come up with loads of pics... lots of which are E30'sComment

okay i am kinda asking a broad question. but what with and offset wheel would fit perfect on a e30 with no spacers and would sit pretty much flush? would be running meaty tires/ not a fan of big stretch.
i have heard of a few on here that have wheels that are a direct fit to the e30 with pretty much perfect fitment-so i know it is possible(i just can not remember or find the thread)-FREEDOM- is cruisin at 80, windows down and listening to the perfect song-thinking "this is it"

16x8.25 +0 offset. Tires will be 205/50's. Rims and tires will be hopefully mounted and on the ground next weekend.

16x8.5 et13 all around. what tires are recommended for some stretch? would the fenders need to be rolled?

after a fitment that fills the guards out fully yet not 'hella flush' or similar. i.e. I want to run proper sized tires, not stretched.
Looking at 17x7.5 ET22 on 215/40/17 conti sport contact
Feasible?

The time has come to purchase tires for my 17x8 and 17x9 filled and redrilled style 5's. My current setup is koni adjustables with H&R sports. I'm ditching the springs for a set of these.. . http://www.r3vlimited.com/board/show...over+group+buy. I'm going with the 400f/600r spring rates (I think). I'm also going with the camber plates offered. I've been asking around for what tire sizes would suite my needs. I want a flush stance, might need some small spacers to dial it in. As for the tires, I'm looking for a slight stretch, nothing to compromise the integrity of the tire. I also want equistretch. I'm thinking a 225/40 or 45 in the rear with a 215/40 or 45 or 205/40 or 45 up front. Will the 45's rub? Is the 205 too skinny for the front? I've been using this site to determine what sizes have similiar stretch.. http://www.willtheyfit.com/index.php...&Submit=Submit. I've been looking for pics of similiar wheel setups on an e30 but haven't had much luck finding what I need. Any suggestions and/or pics are much appreciated. Thanks guys.
edit: the rear fenders are already rolled
edit #2: think I'm going with 215/40/17 or 205/40/17 front and 225/40/17 rear... who the hell makes a good 225/40?Last edited by e30slidewayz; 10-04-2011, 07:49 PM.Comment

Rota RB's 16x8
Sorry if this is a repost but 300+ pages is a lot to get through. LOL
I'm seriously concidering 16x8 Rota RB's et20 57.1 center bore. Will I need to roll my fenders at all for these to fit? If so what is the widest tire size I can mount on them; again with out any modifications to the fenders. I just ordered a set of H&R sport springs & Bilstein Sports for the car as well. Figure that may be important since it should drop the car 1.3 inches or so.Comment

Same fitment as E38 style 5s. I was looking into those as well for a while. I was planning for 20mm adapter front and 25mm adapter rear.Your signature picture has been removed since it contained the Photobucket "upgrade your account" image.Comment

I need your input on this. I was wondering if I can create a staggered look with 7.5" rims by going 205 50 16 up front and 225 50 16 rears. The car is a 93 convertible sitting on Bilstein Sport and H&R Sport. Tires I'm thinking of getting are Conti DWS all season tires. These are the wheels I'm fitting on the car.
