225/50 is about the largest you would want. That rip was the shop's fault.

I want the tires to be filling out the flares, but not have to worry about rub, I can run spacers no problem.
            Same size tires all around.
From what it sounds 245/45 with 15mm spacers all around?
Could I get away with a 245/50? In order to get road tires lol
I'd ask Ary at ESM. I know they did a 16x9 245 setup with flares. 245/50 is out of the question though haha.

sorry, offset is +32. pretty ridiculous. will it be even possible to use the fronts? 9.5"? if so, will 18mm spacers work and which tire size?

              Thank you

You would need an effective +6 final offset to clear, so a 26mm adapter in theory. And at that point, you'll be waaaayyyy outside of the bodywork. I wouldn't recommend it.

Those are annoyingly close to ideal offset, which makes spacing them complicated (proper hubcentric spacers start at at least 10mm, which is too much for what you want).

10mm front spacer, none in the rear. 235/40 all around. The rear will be very close to the trailing arm seam and may need either a tiny spacer or a slight grinding of said seam.

                      ok, i'll get 8.5's
                      so

                      16x9.5 -32 back 205-40-16
                      16x8.5 -32 front 195-40-16
                      18mm spacer

could i fit larger tires? or is this good enough?

mystikal, here to badger you again

I decided to go ahead and add flares (IE or dtmfiber) to my project car so I can fit some better sized rubber on my wheels, which are the typical brock b1 17s, 8.5et13 fronts and 10et20 rears. What can I fit now? Don't mind spacers if need be. I was going to go with newmans set up of having 245/45 and 275/40 as he had IE flares also. Any other thoughts?

                        TIA

Tires are too short. Go with 45 on both.
