    Thank you!
With 90% of suspension setups you will need a 3-5mm front spacer to clear the strut body. If you use a 205/45 tire you may get away with not rolling the rear fenders but it will depend on ride height and spring rates.

+30. An iX can fit everything a standard E30 can (more if you modify the metal fenders underneath the flares). You just need a slightly higher (by 8-10mm) offset.

Front or rear? Either way the tires are 2" too tall.

that rubber would be in the rear, 17x9 all the way around. I have 205/45/17 on tha back right now and they fit with a bunch of space, but thats 205...

I just got a set of mercedes wheels 16x8 et34 and I'm going to order custom adapters. My question is what thickness? I'm currently running 16x9 et15 and want the same fitment. Also plan to run 205/40's
                Thanks

I would think a 235/45 or better yet a 245/40 would fit much nicer

Due to my new coilovers, I'm looking to run a pair of good performance oriented 205/45/16's on 16x8's in the front of my car.

Any suggestions for some 205/45's that are less prone to looking super stretched and are a good mix of performance vs value?

I have 4 17x8.5" m contours for my e36 m3 right now. According to wiki, m coupe/roadster rear wheels are 9" wide. I don't mind rolling my quarters, but how wide of tire can I fit in back? Any pics or precedent?

Thinking of picking up a set of m contour rears from an m roadster/coupe for my rears

                        Hey sirs...from Jamaica.

16 x 8's all around +20, lowered on IE stage 3 springs. i got 15mm spacers for the rear (not sure if these are necessary, willing to ditch)
wt tires do you recommend, looking for a meaty rear tire.. and something decent for the front to clear the strut tower. 87, 325e. dont intend on rolling

                        appreciate it, thanks.

BBS RS189. Rims measure 15x7.5" and 15x8.5" with ET38. The widths seem odd to me, but whatever i guess. My DFORCE rims measure exactly 15x7.

Currently there are stretched tires on the BBS rims. On the dforce, im running 205/55-15 Kumhos. I like the look of the current tires, though they probably could be a size smaller for sidewall height (maybe 45's?).

What should i run on the BBS? The car is sitting on JOM coil overs. Would like to avoid rolling fenders. Seems like the rear there should be plenty of clearance, front im not sure. Any tips are appreciated!

I am thinking of running a 225/50-15 rear and 205/50-15 front. Little lower profile series than whats on there with more width in the rear (since the rims are wider than what im running)

                          How the car sits now:

If I'm running 17 x 8 front and 17 x 9 rear et13 all the way around with a 10mm spacer up front to clear my airbags. What would I do with 17 x 8 et20 all the way around??

Hey, i got a set of bbs rs's. They are 5x114.3 and 16x7.5 with et35, but i'll be getting 18 or 20 mm adapters (putting the final offset at around et17 to et15) Wondering if they will fit without problems with some 205/45s. Question 2, the wheels right now have a .5 inch lip, and I gotta good deal for two 1.5 inch lips. This would make the rear wheels 16x8.5 but with et -8 (with adapters), how much work would it be to pull off this setup? By the way I'm on h&r cupkit, but will likely be getting some sort of coilover setup in the near future.
Thanks in advance, hopefully all my math is correct!

235/40 or 245/35 are about the limit. 245/40 with enough fender massaging.
