Long time no speak my fellow wheel sluts; some questions for you.
Narrowbody E30, E30 M3 5 lug suspension: 18x8.5 ET40 wheels - is this even possible without spacers (they're NOT an option). 1010 tires calculator reckons 29mm less interior clearance and 9mm extension compared to 15x7 ET30 M3 spec weaves. I'm not concerned about the extension, but is there likely to be 29mm to play with on the inside?
And what tyres should I be looking for? 215/35/18 is closest to rolling stock, what is good in that size?

The consensus is they are rubbing on the inside "bump" of the fender and I also had this problem with my 225/50/15's Euroweaves/Style 10's as well but I wouldn't say the setup "won't work." In the end, I didn't want to run staggered tires so I switched to 205/40 all around on my convertible (style 5). So the question is, what do you do about rubbing on the inside? raise the height? pull the arch out? or use stiffer springs and live with it because it only happens every now and then?
"I'd probably take the E30 M3 in this case just because I love that little car, and how tanky that inline 6 is." - thecj

Deciding between two combos for an 86 325es lowered, not slammed. I don't want to roll fenders.
15 x 7 et15 - 205 55 15 front 225 50 15 rear
or
15 x 7 et20 - 205 55 15 front 225 50 15 rear
or some other combo of tires? I can't mix the offset, wheels are bought in sets of 4.
Goal is as flush as possible with a meaty look in back since it has the high arches. Fronts will probably look meaty with 205's, unless 225s would fit with no rub at full turn. I hate the stretched look, but don't mind a bulge to protect the rims from curbs.Comment

Funny, I test fit a pair of those. They fit in the back, but the fronts stuck out way too far for my taste.Comment
