My wheels: Front: 16X8/ET6 and Rear: 16X9.5/ET13

I'm looking at FALKEN tires like: 205X40X16 Front and 215X40X16 Rear (or 225X40)
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated...

Is my tire spec choice ok to go?… I'm going to be ridding low on Coilovers and possible switching to BAGS when all things are done… (I just don't want to see these wheels as my living room decoration anymore…) :(
Perfect. I prefer 195/45 over 205/40 because it gives you a bit more oil pan clearance without being overly tall and ruining fitment. Otherwise, nailed it.

      these are the wheels http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/15x8-Axis...16.m2518.l4276
5mm front spacers, and shorter tires. 215/50 or 225/50 would work. The sizes you put are too tall.

        Yep. Good tire choices.

          I have a 91 325i, ls1 swapped, doing a 5 lug swap with z4 rear hubs (5mm+). I bought style 32 17x8 et20 17x9 et26, I am looking for what tire I can run.
I was thinking to run 235/40 r17 front and 245/40 r17 rears. they are both very close to each other and about 24.5" diameter.
          Will it work fine?

Fit question (2 different sets, same tire sizes):

205/55/15 (both sets). 1989 325 convertible lowered on H&R Sport w/ 15mm drophats up front.

Looking for info on fit of the following wheels:

            15x7 ET10 (with 205/55/15)

            15x8 ET20 (with 205/55/15)

            Fit prognosis?

                  Wow ace thread.

                  I have a 1989 325i coupe and I am new to mods.

I would like to lower the 60mm and 40mm and I would like to add borbet type A 16inch 4x100 j9 et15 all round.

Would I need to use spacers?

Will my wheels rub on anything?

Will the wheels still point straight?

Will there be any camber issues?

Will I need to use spigot ring things?

                  Hope you guys can help.

First might rub occasionally front and rear. Offset a bit too low, but 205/50s would work. Second setup fits.

Z4 hubs is the same as e30 m3 just 5 mm less out. Pretty nice because they are cheap. Front is e36 hubs with adapter nut sleeve

Thank you. I was told by the vendor that the ET10 would fit but if it does not I will deal with that. My "main" setup will be the 15x8 with 205/55/15s.

I decided to go with Konig Tweakd 15x8 et22. Do I need some small spacers to get closer to et20, or should et22 be fine? Also would you recommend 205/50 or 205/55 tires? Lowered on Bilstein Sports all the way around, '88 cabrio.

Will I need spacers on the front because I am fitting 9js? If I was to fit 7.5j on the front would I still need spacers? Is it normal to fit 9js all round?

                                Thanks again great help. JS
