Looks like I'll have a twitchy car... I have been informed that Et25 are no longer available from Borbet, so it will have to be Et20front and Et15rear for me.

Given this information should I now use 215/40/16 all around? and any tire recomendations... Thanks so much, I'll be sending you some beer tokens when this is done!!!

See, that's what happens to the functional stuff when "Euro" becomes widespread. We lose the actually useful ones!

215/40/16 all around will work fine, but keep in mind the stretch difference F/R. If you're okay with the look, the car will handle fine.

Hi Ive got 16x7.5 Schnitzer alloys in et25 with 225/45/16 toyo t1rs and the look awesome. Now the tires dont really fill the guards like my old 17s did, i want to space them out in the guards with proper 10mm spacers making the offset et15? will they still fit easy? ive had the guards rolled so there is extra room in there and the car is very low. How do you think ill go? cheers

I am thinking 15mm spacers and 80mm studs will make 15x7 et38 fit. Am I right?

Will 80mm studs be to long to fit a center cap on?

Honestly, the setup you have is perfect for stock fenders. I have no idea how much you rolled under there, so the best I can tell you is just look and measure.

They "fit". With very skinny and undertall tires while sticking an inch outside of the fenders. Spacers make it worse. If it's the 8" wide version, offsets like ET20 will allow the wheels to FIT inside the car's body.

Yep, 15mm is perfect. 80mm studs sound long to me for that spacer, but unfortunately I'm admittedly not a pro on the subject. Search the forums or if all else fails make another thread and hopefully someone will chime in.

Well don't do any kind of spacing until you install and adjust the bushings. Depending on the camber you want, you can either end up with a car that rubs the fender without spacers (i.e. 0 camber), or one that can run 15mm spacers (i.e. -4).

                                Ok, here's a quick one.
I've got a set of 17x9 et 8 wheels sitting at my shop. Two of the wheels have 245/40's on them. I put them on the front, look great, suspension still needs to settle some, etc. Is it even possible to fit 245/40's in the rear without any work on late model rear arches? I'm guessing not without any flaring. The 245's even have a little bit of a stretch to them since you would need like a 265 or a 255 for the tire to be square shouldered.
